Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Immersion Workshop
This workshop covers compressively the most important topics of a karaṇa-based vinyāsa practice. Participants are guided from the very foundations into developing awareness and control of complex movements (kinaesthesia). Particular attention is given to conditioning techniques, alignments of movements, safe entry/exits from the basic to advanced postures. A challenging but practical workshop for those who desire to learn or improve their vinyāsa practice especially fluidity of movements, inversions and arm balancing postures.

Saturday - series, inversion and arm-balancing
Morning session (3 hours)
9:00 to 10:30 am Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa Series (90 minutes) 10:30 to 12:00 pm series breakdown, demo and discussion (90 minutes)
series: aśva krama (hourse sequence) , baddhaikapāda krama (fasten-one-leg sequence), padma sarvānga krama (lotus all-limbs sequence) - breakdown of selected vinyāsa selected from the morning practice
12:00 - 1:00 break
Afternoon session (3 hours) 1:00 - 4:00 pm inversion and arm-balancing
Contents mental conditioning physical conditioning for inversion and arm-balancing alignment for inversion and arm-balancing entry and safe exit for inversion and arm-balancing
As advised by his master, Dario started a journey throughout the Indian Subcontinent where he met masters of different lineages. He lived with sufis in Pakistan and studied with yogis of the śiva-siddhānta and vaiṣṇava tradition in Tamil Nadu. During the 5 years he spent in Tamil Nadu Dario studied and practiced Karaṇas (the Art of Movement).
In 2007 he started his own yoga āśrama and holistic centre at Srirangam (India), a city-temple and small island in the river Kaveri. At this time, Dario completed his academic studies in Yoga, Psychology, Counselling and Philosophy. He reached Hong Kong in October 2011. Dario is presently completing his Ph.D Course on Yoga and Alternative Medicine and conducting workshops and teacher training course on Navakaraṇa Vinyāsa and Lifestyle internationally.
